May 2026
The beginning of my summer bender...okay not ACTUALLY but also..kinda yeah. This month was mostly working my absolute butt off to be able to run away and play as much as I have this month. The pregame to upcoming party star central.
New Festival

EDC (Las Vegas: May 15-17)
I swore up and down that this was a festival you would never catch me dead at. Yet here I am with presale tickets to weekend 2 for 2027. Something abut Vegas just always gave me the heebie-jeebies, especially thinking about a festival at THIS level being smack center of it. I thought that nothing in the entire world would ever get me to willingly attend. Then I met Joy & Noelle, and when they said, "We're going to EDC," we were going to EDC. In complete honesty, I had the time of my life. Stay tuned for a complete breakdown of the event (coming soon) but considering the traffic and Sunday crowd capacity- I give it an 8.5/10
Events
Crankdat @ Rawhide
I fear Crankdat has become a DJ that I simply cannot miss, so when he announced a show at Rawhide in AZ, I was THERE!! My roommate and I threw a pre with all our friends from different crews, then pulled up to the show. It. was. PACKED. Plus, the dust from rawhide itself was actually murderous. Lost my voice completely + a cough that sounded like patient 0 carrying the black plague. Would 100% do again though...

Food
Our Cooking Era!!
Tate and I have been cooking something almost every time we are together. Whether it be something new we saw online or a well-known meal. A house favorite right now, our udon & potstickers/dumplings (as voted upon by us and my roommates). I fear we won't find one that tops this one for awhile, but hopes are high. Highly recommend doing this with your person! If you don't have a recipe, defiantly look on TikTok for some good ones, but we lowkey just seasoned ours from vibes.

Connections
Work - Life Changes
I'm still at the same serving job I started back in 2023, but only because I love it (the people) just as much now as I did then (maybe even more). What's that one saying? "All good things must come to an end." Yeah, that one, I hate that one. Yet, it is true, and my silly messed up family is coming to an end. A new location opens soon and is taking a good chunk of important people in my life with it. Which, if you know me, I am all for taking new opportunities and living life, but I would be lying if I said it didn't make me sad. As these changes are beginning to take place, we recently had a "Goodbye" party, which to me almost felt like the closing chapter to what I've known the past few years. I had so much fun and almost at peace with the change to come. I love my people and I hope their journey is everything and more, and I am excited for what's to come.
