April 2026

OMG! I remembered I have a silly little blog where I can ramble about anything and everything I want to! April was how every April is, a violent reminder that it's festival season babyyyy!!!! (this one was a little more special though)

Little Brother Graduates

My very own (not so) little brother graduated college at GCU! Although I don't want to admit it, having him out in Arizona with me the past four years has meant everything to me. It's funny how just having the knowledge that he was only a 45min drive from me made all the difference. I know that I am going to miss his random invites to the bar after work or being able to call on him for spontaneous dinner, but I also know how incredibly proud of him I am. I look forward to seeing what he does in this life and I'm honored to be there every step of the way.

Breakaway AZ

Year 2 for Breakaway AZ! I was so lucky to be able to promote another festival in arizona for breakway, which I got to attend with friends. ISOxo, Marshmello, Habstrakt, Effin & others headlined this year! A super fun fest, super easy to attend- since it's right in our backyard. Honestly the LAB (second stage) was where it was at, day 2 was so much fun even though we basically camped there the whole day. This years Breakaway definitely holds a special place in my heart.

Lexi! (Nurturing adult friendships)

One of the hardest things about not just being an adult, but also post-grad is keeping up with friendships. I find that once I graduated, left a job, or any change happening really it became almost natural for those connections I had to simmer. Which sucked! I recently have been doing my best to stay in touch with and make time for my friends who I might not see everyday at work. I most recently was able to get coffee with Lexi! Whom I had worked with for a short while yet felt super close to! I felt so lively after chatting, it was a solid reminder for me to pour into the relationships that really matter.

COACHELLA (girl-chella)

Ran it back for year 3 baby!! Julia and I embarked on our Coachella trip again together this summer, yet this time a friend/coworker of mine plus her friend ended up merging with us! Our little group of four certainly had quite the time (mostly fun duh). Minus Julia and I's camp getting absolutely destroyed by the unforgiving desert winds (shoutout to my new found friends and our camp neighbor for patching us up), the girls stove catching fire and burning my hand, and our strawberries ending up having mold- everything else was peachy!! LOL but really, we always look forward to our silly little get away & had a blast.
